Not Quite Crazy eBook Catherine Bybee
**I voluntarily read an early copy of this title in exchange for an honest review**Not Quite Crazy is the sixth and final installment in Catherine Bybee's Not Quite series and Bybee certainly saved the best for last! I have enjoyed every book in this series, but there was something about this one that hooked me from the outset and I didn't want to put it down.
Rachel Price's life has recently undergone a lot of change. Following her best friend's death, Rachel is now the legal guardian of her best friend's teenage son, Owen, and they have packed up their whole lives and moved from California to be closer to Owen's grandparents in an attempt to keep the peace. Rachel has secured a great job in Manhattan, but she hasn't quite figured out that she really will be better off taking public transportation into work instead of trying to drive, especially when winter shows it's snowy self.
Jason Fairchild is the oldest of the Fairchild siblings and the CEO of their charter plane company. Unlike his brothers, he hasn't settled down yet and currently it is the favorite pastime of his sisters-in-law to try to set him up with prospective dates, but he's not into it. Jason's focus has always been on work and making sure that he keeps the empire his parents built together following their deaths.
One night on the way home from work, Jason ends up in a ditch after sliding off the snowy road when trying to pass the car going at a snails pace ahead of him. When the other passenger comes to his aid after the accident, Jason is captivated by the beautiful woman and that accident might just end up changing the course of the rest of their lives.
As sparks fly between them, it comes to light that Rachel actually works at Jason's company. Now that this piece of information is out in the open, will they be able to continue working toward a personal relationship or will it need to solely stay professional?
The characters that Catherine Bybee has created throughout this entire series have been fantastic. I really enjoyed Rachel, Jason and especially Owen. For a kid who is going through all sorts of change, he had a good head on his shoulders and all I wanted was for things to work out for everyone in the end. I'm really sad to see this series end, but I'm equally excited to see what amazing offerings Bybee has for us next!

Not Quite Crazy eBook Catherine Bybee Reviews
After Rachel’s best friend dies and leaves her to raise her son, she makes the move from sunny California to the Big Apple just in time for winter. Determined to make the hour long drive into Manhattan each day for her new job, she’s sure she’ll get the hang of driving on the ice and snow. That is until she has a near accident and the other car careens into a ditch. With an offer to help the driver, Jason, she feels an instant attraction, not realizing she’s crushing on her new boss.
Jason has been carrying the weight of his family’s business for years since his parents’ deaths. While his brothers have found their forever loves he’s stayed away from even wishing for such a thing. It doesn’t take but a few moments in the company of Rachel to know that he might have found it without even trying.
This is a relatively low angst read with some drama from the boss/employee angle and then even more due to Rachel’s responsibilities to her friend’s son, Owen. The relationship between this couple is sweet and flows naturally even if a bit quickly, which was fine by me. I like my hero and heroine to feel something immediately, even if they’re not sure what it is.
This was a very enjoyable read, fast paced, well written and included couples from what I assume were the previous books in the series. I will definitely be checking out those stories in the future.
This is an honest review of an advanced copy provided by NetGalley and Montlake.

Going to be honest here......This is my first book I've read in the Not Quite series.....There I said it. Yes it's book 6. But after reading this you can read it on its own. Yes I will be going back through and reading this series as a whole. Not Quite Crazy is a fantastic read. I love how Catherine Bybee just brought the characters alive. They seem so real. Owen was a delight. I always love when kids are added into books and even with him being a teenager he oozed spunk. His relationship with Rachel is amazing. It takes a loving and caring person to step up when needed. Rachel does that and then some. They have such a connection you can't help but to love them. Now when it comes to Jason I admit that I did swoon for him some. I love that he wasn't too cocky and full of himself like you would find in other billionaire books. He is down to earth, accepting and acts like a regular guy. There is no denying the chemistry between him and Rachel either. They're sweet with just the right amount of sizzle. I couldn't put this one down. Oh another honest moment....This is my first book by Catherine Bybee too. I can't wait to dig into more. So if you love a book full of family and little drama all mixed in with falling for your boss then this book needs to be read.
